Biography

French street artist, Onemizer, is known for blendding together influences from graffiti street culture, literature, and design to create canvases that bring grafffiti culture to thw unlikley space of collector's homes.

Who is Street artist Onemizer?

Born in 1987  in the South of France, Cyril Valade, known under the moniker Onemizer, first encountered art during his childhood in Africa. Living for several years in Africa, Cyril Valade returned to France as a teenager and found himself drawn to the vibrant world of street art that was rampant throughout the streets of Paris.

 

Inspired by French street culture and its landscape of graffiti, Onemizer began his artistic career, first painting the streets of Paris. Forming his own unique artistic expression, Onemizer ventured into inconspicuous locations such as vacant lots, railroad yards, and abandoned warehouses.

 

Following his high school graduation, Onemizer embarked on a journey to further refine his artistic style, posing formal education in art and design. Fueled by the desire to forge his own path, he ultimately chose the path of self-education. Onemizer immersed himself in the world of painting, both on canvas and on walls, proudly displaying his evolving body of work in various establishments, including hotels, restaurants, and bars.

 

Onemizer's artistic inspiration draws from a rich tapestry of influences that encompass everything from iconic works of art to the minutiae of everyday life, as well as the experiences of his childhood. His distinctive style reflects a synthesis of these diverse influences, resulting in a body of work that captivates and resonates with audiences on both a personal and universal level.

 

Since Onemizer's beginnings in the streets, and he now exhibits in many international art galleries, including those in Paris, Courchevel, Megève, Cannes, Singapore, London, Amsterdam, Dubai, Miami, and Tokyo. In 2019, Onemizer's talent and vision were duly recognized when he was named one of the 50 most talented artists by the prestigious Guide de l’Art Contemporain Urbain (Graffiti Art Magazine), a testament to his growing prominence and impact within the realm of contemporary urban art.
