Hunt Slonem is one of the most prominent contemporary artists of our time, known for his distinctive neo-expressionist style and vibrant depictions of nature. His celebrated motifs—bunnies, tropical birds, and butterflies—reflect his lifelong fascination with the natural world.

With a career spanning decades, Slonem’s art has earned a place in the permanent collections of over 250 museums worldwide, including the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, and the Whitney Museum of American Art in New York City. His signature style features textured brushstrokes, bright colors, and repetitive compositions, blending Pop Art with the emotional depth of German Expressionism.

    Nemo Jantzen in Atlanta

New dome works by Dutch contemporary artist Nemo Jantzen have arrived at the Lenox Square gallery, presenting a striking extension of the artist’s exploration of dimension and perception. Known for pushing the boundaries between photography, painting, and sculpture, Jantzen transforms familiar imagery into sculptural compositions through his distinctive domed surfaces.

Each work begins with a photographic image that is meticulously manipulated and mounted beneath a convex dome. The curved surface subtly distorts the image, creating a shifting visual experience that changes depending on the viewer’s position. As light moves across the dome, reflections and depth enhance the illusion, giving the image a sense of movement and life. The result is a work that feels both futuristic and tactile, inviting viewers to engage with the piece from multiple perspectives. By combining precise photographic detail with sculptural form, Jantzen’s dome works challenge traditional expectations of flat imagery while creating a dynamic and immersive viewing experience.
