Now at Carousel Fine Art: Evelyne Brader-Frank

    Abstraction of the human form

A leading contemporary sculptor, Evelyne Brader-Frank is recognized for her refined, reduced abstractions of the human form; works that distill movement, sensuality, and balance into their most essential lines. Working across stone, bronze, and mirror-polished steel, her sculptures evoke what she describes as a “dance of curves,” where volume and silhouette become expressions of quiet strength and femininity.

On view in West Palm Beach, Solvi, Arcana, & Cadenza exemplify her mastery of stainless steel, transforming sculpture into a living surface. The work interacts with its surroundings, capturing light, color, and the viewer themselves, creating a constantly shifting visual experience. Brader-Frank’s sculptures are sought after for their timeless elegance and architectural presence, making them particularly compelling for interior designers and collectors seeking statement works that balance minimalism with sensuality.

    Zhuang Hong-Yi "Lusciousness"

    Zhuang's Flowerbed Paintings

Zhuang Hong Yi is one of the most influential contemporary Chinese artists, known for his immersive, three-dimensional “flowerbed” works that blur the line between painting and sculpture. Using thousands of hand-folded rice paper blossoms, Zhuang constructs richly textured surfaces that shift in color and depth as the viewer moves around them.

His work bridges Eastern and Western traditions, combining Chinese symbolism and materials with a bold, contemporary color sensibility shaped by his life between China and Europe. Flowers, a recurring motif, symbolize prosperity, harmony, and emotional connection, while the labor-intensive process reflects discipline and meditative repetition.

On view, Lusciousness is a striking example of Zhuang’s signature technique. Composed of rice paper and acrylic, the work reveals a dynamic, color-shifting surface that evolves with perspective, creating an almost kinetic experience. The result is both visually immersive and deeply tactile: an artwork that transforms any space through movement, texture, and light.

Highly collectible and globally exhibited, Zhuang’s work is bold, dimensional and brings energy and depth into any interior.
