We’re thrilled to share the exciting news: Carousel Fine Art Chicago has officially expanded. What began as a summer pop-up has evolved into a destination for contemporary art collectors in Chicago. Now occupying both the street-level and lower-level gallery spaces, our expanded location in the heart of the city marks a new era for Carousel Fine Art.

This two-level gallery offers an elevated experience for collectors and designers seeking museum-quality works in a refined, thoughtfully curated setting. As we continue to grow, our commitment remains focused on connecting Chicago’s art buyers with exceptional international and emerging artists.

Carousel Fine Art’s first curation in our newly expanded Chicago gallery brings together works by Patrick Hughes, Eric Alfaro, Caroline Dechamby, and Alexi Torres, originally previewed at EXPO CHICAGO 2025.

Now on view at street level, this artwork display invites visitors into an intimate dialogue between visual illusion, collective memory, and personal storytelling. Each artist brings a distinct perspective—ranging from kinetic sculpture to reinterpreted iconography—forming a layered narrative that reflects the gallery’s evolving curatorial vision in Chicago.

Artist Spotlight: Ronald Mugabe

Ronald Mugabe, born in Kampala, Uganda, in 1992, is known for his powerful figurative portraits deeply rooted in African culture. His personal journey, marked by loss, homelessness, and eventual success, shapes the emotional depth of his art. After refining his talent through a scholarship at the Michelangelo School of Creative Arts, Mugabe now creates pieces that explore themes of resilience, freedom, and identity. His unique use of color and form brings these stories to life.
