    Lita Albuquerque 'Untitled'

    Lita Albuquerque "Untitled"

Lita Albuquerque is renowned for her transformative approach to contemporary art, blending cosmic symbolism, natural phenomena, and refined materials into works that resonate on both a visual and conceptual level. In Untitled, Albuquerque’s use of gold leaf elevates the work, creating a luminous surface that captures light and reflects it in subtle, shifting ways—inviting the viewer to experience the artwork differently from every angle.

Albuquerque’s practice is rooted in the interplay between intuition and meticulous craftsmanship. Each piece is carefully considered, balancing precision with spontaneity, and designed to interact with its surroundings. Untitled exemplifies this philosophy, offering a presence that is both commanding and meditative, enhancing the aesthetic and intellectual value of any collection.

  • Randall Harrington 'D'Etente - Knotted Missile'

Randall Harrington "D'Etente - Knotted Missile"

Randall Harrington is a multidisciplinary artist whose work probes the relationship between history, technology, and American culture. Known for his Toastasaurus herds, twisted missile forms, and robots performing human tasks, Harrington reimagines familiar industrial objects as cultural critiques. His sculptures occupy a space between satire and seriousness, examining post-war nostalgia, human ingenuity, and the uneasy intimacy between technological advancement and everyday life.

Rooted in metalwork and mixed-media processes—including lost-wax casting—Harrington’s practice often confronts the paradoxes embedded in American history. Twisted Missile continues this dialogue, bending rigid forms into something disarmed, almost animate. It embodies Harrington’s instinct for juxtaposition—transforming an object designed for destruction into a sculptural meditation on vulnerability, power, and the absurdity of technological excess. Though his work engages with complex themes, Harrington describes himself with characteristic simplicity: “a sculptor who likes to paint.”
