Born and raised in Kampala, Uganda, Mugabe’s journey into art is deeply intertwined with his life story. After losing his mother at a young age and experiencing homelessness during his childhood, art became both an outlet and a lifeline. His talent was eventually recognized by an NGO that supported his education, leading him to formally study fine art at the Michelangelo School of Creative Arts in Uganda.
