  • Artist Spotlight

Hunt Slonem's artwork, "Chinensis March," depicting bunnies.

    Hunt Slonem

Globally renowned artist, Hunt Slonem is carving out a distinctive neo-expressionist style through the repeated imagery of nature. Keeping the company of 60 pet birds, Slonem takes inspiration from his surroundings. Hunt Slonem's art is an embracement of the beauty of nature, depciting subjects such as butterflies and tropical birds. Through a unique style, in which Slonem pushes simple forms against flat spaces of color, allows for his subjects to contrast against the picture plane. The combination of expressive and textural brushstrokes is reminscent of the German Expressionism movement with an added contemporary splash.

With works showcased in the permanent collections of 250 museums worldwide, including the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum and the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City, Slonem is continuing to stamp a permanent mark in contemporary art.

  • Nick Veasey

    Nick Veasey

British Photographer, Nick Veasey is the man with X-Ray vision. Using X-Ray technology, transforms mundane objects by exposing the layers that make up reality. Carving a unique style within the art world, Veasey does not create or transform things, he exposes something that always existed, objects we think we know but we don’t.

With social media, the world has become obsessed with "image'. Veasey counteracts the superficiality and artifice of the modern age by laying bare what's inside to the viewer. His art becomes the discovery of what things are truly really made of. The inner life of objects and organisms is revealed, the surface replaced with transparency, the inside becomes the outside – what is left is the form the aesthetics of form the inner beauty.
