Hunt Slonem is a renowned American neo-expressionist artist known for his repetitive depictions of nature, particularly tropical birds, butterflies, and large-scale sculptures. Inspired by his collection of over 60 pet birds and a love for nature, Slonem creates minimalist, tranquil works featuring simple forms and soft color palettes. Born in 1951 in Kittery, Maine, and raised in a Navy family, his travels influenced his artistic vision.
