The holiday season is here, and with it, we’re taking a moment to reflect on an extraordinary year at Carousel Fine Art.

Throughout the year, our gallery has celebrated the dynamic artistic styles defining 2024, including street art, appropriation art, pop art, and dimensional art—each reflecting the ever-changing dialogue of the contemporary art world.
Understanding the Curation

This year, Cayla Birk expanded her It’s in the Cards series with new works that debuted during Miami Art Week 2024. Her Take the Lot collection reimagines Mexican Lotería cards as witty, visually striking commentaries on the art world’s intersection with contemporary culture and Miami’s vibrant energy. By juxtaposing themes of chance with the pursuit of luxury acquisitions, Birk captures the shifting narratives of 2024’s art landscape.

We also welcomed new works by Randall Harrington and Ken Kelleher, whose practices embody key trends shaping the art world today. Harrington’s inventive sculptures, such as The Gun Magnet, challenge perceptions of technology and culture through playful yet critical lenses. Kelleher’s monumental installations, including his Ghost Mawse, fuse classical influences with pop art aesthetics, exploring the evolving relationship between art, form, and environment in a way that resonates deeply with 2024’s art movements.

Beyond the Canvas: Caroline Dechamby

For this curation, we are spotlighting all facets of Dutch artist Caroline Dechamby, who is not only an artist but also an entrepreneur and designer.
