About the Exhibition
This Atlanta art exhibition highlights Opake’s signature series, Disintegration of Pop Art. Rooted in graffiti and urban street culture, his work reimagines pop culture through layered compositions, spray paint, Posca markers, and epoxy resin. By deconstructing iconic cartoon characters and cultural symbols, Opake transforms nostalgia into bold visual narratives that explore themes of identity, addiction, and the shifting fabric of society.
As part of this exhibition, Carousel Fine Art is proud to announce a special collaboration with private schools in Atlanta. In the days following the opening, students will have the unique opportunity to meet Opake, learn about his creative process, and engage directly with his immersive street art style—making this both a groundbreaking art eventand an enriching educational experience.
