CAROLINE DECHAMBY'S RETROSPECTIVE EXHIBITION TO CULMINATE IN ATLANTA’S BUCKHEAD VILLAGE

Atlanta, GA - March, 2024 — With great excitement, Carousel Fine Art is honored to present the grand finale of the Caroline Dechamby Retrospective, a captivating journey into the artistic evolution of the distinguished Dutch artist. This multi-city retrospective, hosted by Carousel Fine Art, finds its concluding chapter at their gallery in Atlanta's Buckhead Village. Visiting from her atelier in Switzerland, Dechamby will be in attendance at the exhibition opening on March 28th, offering a special opportunity to personally meet the luminary artist. The exhibition will continue its showcase through April 12th, allowing patrons and collectors ample time to immerse themselves in the world of Dechamby's unparalleled creativity.

MEET THE ARTIST: A RARE ENCOUNTER

This exclusive event provides a rare opportunity for art enthusiasts to personally meet Caroline Dechamby, a luminary with over 35 years of experience in redefining the boundaries of creativity. Her masterpieces, which artfully incorporate her silhouette into iconic works by renowned artists, stand as a testament to female empowerment within the art world.

UNVEILING THE PLEXIGLASS REVOLUTION: DECHAMBY'S FIRST COLLECTION

The Retrospective will feature a curated selection of Dechamby's works, including pieces from her inaugural "Erotics" series. Crafted over two decades ago, this collection, previously unreleased for sale, marks the genesis of Dechamby's revolutionary use of plexiglass, with her own body serving as a superimposed subject. This innovative approach has since become integral to her artistic repertoire.

FROM WALLS TO LIFE: THE RUNWAY SHOW

Adding a unique dimension to the exhibition, guests will be treated to an extraordinary runway show. Models adorned in Caroline's iconic hand-painted overalls, a recurring motif in her artistic oeuvre, will bring her art to life. This convergence of fashion and art promises to be a visual spectacle, intertwining the concept of the artist's hand-painted overalls with her luxurious leather goods collection — a truly immersive experience where art transcends the walls and becomes a part of daily life.

TIMELESS ELEGANCE: HAND-PAINTED TIMEPIECES

A final highlight of the event is the first-ever availability to view and collect Caroline Dechamby's one-of-a-kind timepieces in the United States. Hand-painted under a microscope, these exquisite watches with automatic movements showcase a harmonious fusion of Swiss watchmaking and artistic ingenuity. Reflecting Dechamby's inherited talent from her mother, a skilled miniature painter, each timepiece is a unique work of art that transcends temporal boundaries.

VIP NIGHT CELEBRATION: MARCH 28, 2024

The Retrospective will be inaugurated with a VIP night celebration on March 28, 2024, from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM, featuring an exclusive runway show at 7:30 PM. Guests will have the opportunity to meet Caroline Dechamby, explore her masterpieces, and be among the first to acquire works from her private collection.
