About Alain Godon

Alain Godon is a French contemporary artist who has garnered global recognition for his whimsical, colorful style depicting cityscapes with dimensionality, frame narratives, and a cartoonish style.

Born in 1964 in Bourges, France, Godon’s artistic experimentation has led him to explore sculpting and digital techniques. In 2022, Godon created the artistic technique, QT (“Cutie”), which involves layering different elements of cut paper into into three-dimensional artworks.

Godon refuses to be confined to a single genre, instead weaving painting, sculpture, and digital art into a new genre of contemporary Pop Art. Whether reimagining cityscapes or transforming recognizable characters into comedic representations, his work invites viewers into a world where architecture, humor, and nostalgia intertwine.

With exhibitions at several international museums such as the Museum of Le Touquet Paris-Plage, the Matisse Museum, and most recently, the Annonciade Museum of Saint-Tropez—where he became the only living painter to have a solo exhibition—Godon’s artistic prestige continues to captivate audiences worldwide.
