Carousel Fine Art was honored to host the next stop of Cayla Birk's American Tour, Chicago! Cayla Birk's series, "Take the Lot," skillfully weaves together the familiar imagery of Lotería cards, a Mexican cultural tradition, with a contemporary commentary on the acquisition of high-end assets.
Debuing in Miami earlier this year, Birk's recent collection is a visual exploration of Mexican Lotería cards, a cultural phenomenon that traces its roots to the early history of playing cards, specifically the popular Tarot game that has transcended time and borders since the 15th century.
Collaboration with cage imports
In collaboration with Cage Imports, the Champagne company redefining American champaigne, Carousel Fine Art Chicago will be spotlighting Mexican artist Cayla Birk's Loteria card series, "Take the Lot."
