ISABELLE SCHELTJENS artistic style

Isabelle Scheltjens's portraits are inspired by pointillism, a style of painting where dots of paint form images at a distance. Mastering color theory, Scheltjens meticulously plans and layers together her different colored glass shards. Not only does her masterful technique of color produce stunning subjects, but it also adds an editorial feel to the mixed media works.

Scheltjens's artworks are captivating up close and at a distance. The different shapes of colored glass are captivating on their own but the illusion they produce heightens the intrigue of Isabelle's artworks.
