Beto Gatti is contemporary artist and sculptor who merges influences from sculpture and photography to create captivating sculptures filled with societal commentary. Born in Brazil in 1986, Gatti uses art as a visual manifestation of his inner-most thoughts. Concerned with the intersections between time and technology, Gatti uses the sculptural medium to visualize his opinions on contemporary society.

 

Based in Rio de Janeiro, Beto crafts sculptures from materials such as bronze, silver, and resin, ranging in style and size. Oftentimes creating large sculptures, the Brazilian artist is able to visualize his societal critique in a monumental fashion.

Beto has also acted as the art director for Yves Saint Laurent and was the sole Brazilian artist commissioned to create an artwork for the Qatar World Cup.
